Following the D25 from Saint Palais s/m you will come trough the small village of La Palmyre. From there follow the D25 towards the Point de la Coubre. After a wile you will see the bunkers lying next to the road.
Most of the bunkers lay on military grounds and are recently closed with sand an bricks, so they are no longer accessible and that makes this battery less interesting.
The bunkers on the other side of the street, the 661 hospital bunker, the M145 ammunition bunker and a M176 casemate are not on military grounds, but in a terrible condition. The M176 is used as a dumping place and there were so many flies and bugs in the bunker that it was impossible to enter it. The 661 hospital bunker is closed with two metal plates. The M145 ammunition bunker is also in a bad condition, but it was our first visit to a bunker of this type, so it was kind of nice the visit it. The size of the bunker is enormous.
